Welcome to a glimpse into the future of Shirtless Mike's BBQ. It's been a great run over the past 18 months, but it's time we re-group, re-clothe and re-focus on the task at hand in a (slightly) more professional manner.

On behalf of Adam, Matt, Chris and myself, I'm proud to introduce:


Tickled Pig BBQ will be both the replacement for Shirtless Mike's BBQ on the competition circuit-- we will be competing on June 27-28 at the DC BBQ Battle-- and a brand spankin' new barbecue blog with more content, more regular updates, a twitter feed, and frequent live-blogging from competitions and events.

You may be thinking, "why should I believe that you'll update this blog more frequently than the last one?"

Well, fellow BBQ enthusiasts, the answer is simple. This is the future of Shirtless Mike's BBQ and Future Shirtless Mike (FSM for short) is a clean(ish), sober(ish) and upstanding(ish) member of the BBQ community, committed bringing the barbecue lovers everywhere the smokiest, savoriest and richest buffett of barbecue-themed content possible.
